Before the session
If you are interested in booking a bespoke Outdoor Portrait session with me don't hesitate in contacting me to have a chat through what want from your session and the images.
When you are ready to invest in the session I will send over an invoice - I ask for 50% deposit to secure the session and the final payment to be made 5 days before the session is due to take place.
Before the session, we will have a consultation call either in person or via Zoom for me to get to know you a little more and most importantly get to know more about your Dog. We will discuss what you want from the session, any specific images you would like , the location for the session, the date and what to expect.
I will join you in a location where you and the dog feel comfortable and the session can be natural and fun, I will spend some time with your dog so that they feel at ease with me before introducing my camera equipment. I tend to use a long lens and will change, if your dog is comfortable, to a shorter lens especially for portrait images.
A session, depending on the brief lasts between 1 - 2hrs, and will usually start with some portraits images and then move on to action shots. As we walk I will be looking for interesting points to capture your dog's personality and the connection between you.
These walks can be on lead or off lead (leads can easily be removed in the editing process so don't worry) and my aim is to ensure that you and your dog feel relaxed and comfortable at all times. The is not pressure to perform in any way I want your dog to behave as naturally as possible - I have a variety of tricks to get the best from images we can. My favourite images are those candid images that capture unique and special moments in time.
When the session is finished We will set the date for the in-person viewing and when I'm at home I will start the sorting and editing process. This usually takes about 2 weeks to complete.
Will confirm when the images are ready and we will meet to view your images - this is a special moment as it is the first time you will have seen the images together.
This is your opportunity to decide which of the images you want to purchase and how you want them presented, be that Mounted Prints, Single Frames, Combination Frames or digital only packages.
I have a range of samples that I will bring and I can show you what different frames will look like on your own walls.
Because I offer a bespoke service there is no one size fits all - most clients spend between £450 and £1000 on frames.
My goal is to make the whole process from end to end as relaxing, fun and enjoyable as I can for you and your dog and deliver to you fabulous images that capture treated memories.
