This entire session took place in the comfort of her own garden in Lincolnshire, showing just how much variety and beauty can be found right at home.With her rich chestnut and white coat, soulful eyes and iconic spaniel ears, Darcie made for a dream subject.

From moments of calm while resting on the lawn to joyful runs through the grass with her tennis ball, her personality shone through in every frame.

One of the highlights of photographing dogs at home is how relaxed they are in their own surroundings. Darcie’s confidence meant we could capture a whole variety of expressions and poses – from close-up portraits that show every detail of her face to action shots filled with movement and energy.

It was a joy to see her trotting proudly with her favourite toy and posing gracefully amongst spring flowers and stone walls.
