So on a rather wet Saturday in June i attended the Drone to Home Dog festival in my very own village of Fiskerton, Nottinghamshire to do some Dog photography rather than having my stand.
I have been a supporter of Drone to Home for a couple of years and they do a fabulous job of reuniting lost Dogs and other animals with their owners completely free of charge and have looking at different ways of help raise money for such a worth while charity.
I decided this year to support them by photographing the lure racing and providing digital images via my website with 50% of the costs going directly to Drone to Home. Despite the typical British summer weather of light drizzle to full on downpours lots of people attended with their dogs, had a go at the lure racing and helped me raise almost £150.
I have a couple of ideas for further fundraising later in the year so watch this space so a huge thank you to Phil and Rebecca and t he rest of the team at Drone to Home for everything they do and to everyone who bought digital images from the day.
